This design was first awarded at a design competition "Urban Commissions" by Dubai Culture and Dubai Design District. Subsequently a registered patent and RCD was registered. It has been endorsed and awarded by the European Union Patent Office (EUIPO) in 2016. It is currently manufactured by Aubrilam in France and sold worldwide.
The concept behind it is the ever changing nature of our private and public spaces. Whenever you pass by the bench, you will always see it in a different shape due to its' dynamic nature. The users can adapt the seats' orientation with a single move, and it's fanning boomerang shaped seat elements create the effects which makes it not just a bench but an innovative piece of art.
