The piece was commissioned by the American Hardwood Export Council (AHEC-MEA) part of their design programme: 'Seed to Seat'.
The piece represents the solidness and resilience of the solid wood log, and inspired by the transformation of a seed through various still moments throughout its' early evolution.
Oblong was exhibited at Design Days Dubai in 2017 during Dubai Design Week.
